Roseville Care Centre team
The registered manager of Roseville is highly experienced having held managerial positions across a portfolio of well know providers. She works with a large but specialised and dedicated staff team to deliver high quality, person focused care to each resident. This care, including nursing care, is carefully tailored, in conjunction with residents and their families, to provide individual care programmes demonstrable in individualised care plans. All staff members receive regular training, with most having achieved a care or nursing qualification. All new members of staff undertake the national care certificate as part of their induction ensuring a consistency of standard
Our meals and mealtimes
We have a dedicated catering team providing homemade, flavoursome meals and snacks throughout the day. We work very closely with allied professionals to ensure the meals we provide are nutritious, balanced and tailored to meet residents’ dietary requirements. Wherever possible we use local suppliers and fresh produce. We provide snack points and food and drink is available 24 hrs a day which is especially valuable to those who reside in our dementia care communities.
Leisure time
A good use of leisure time is crucial to a sense of wellbeing. Therefore we work hard to provide a wide range of activities tailored to ensure residents continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests within the care centre. We have good links in the local community and also support charities through fundraising events. This care centre, like all Prestige facilities, works alongside Oomph https://oomph-wellness.org/ the meaningful activities charity to ensure all activities and occupations are personalised and for 2018 the care centre is adding the Oomph out and about service (dedicated and themed mini-bus supported outings).
Café
You will now find a small, quaint, open café area at the reception of the care centre offering tea, coffee, scones and cakes and a place to sit and chat. These areas are now becoming features at all our care centres.
